  23. It may be your modem settings. I like to set hardware flow, reset on
  24. drop dtr, lock DTE speed. 
  25. "d2:45:respawn:/sbin/agetty -h -t30 ttyS1 38400" works for me.

  30. I haven't upgraded all my Sportsters to the latest ROM, mainly
  31. because I disagree with the idea of changing the registers and
  32. breaking init strings.
